IWC of Antigua and Barbuda and our sponsors are excited to announce that the 9th annual Golf for Education Tournament has been scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Cedar Valley Golf Club.

This event has become an important part of our community, raising over $50,000 last year for scholarships to assist Antiguan and
Barbudan women pursuing tertiary education in professions vitally important to Antigua and Barbuda. In the previous eight years, the IWC has raised over $550,000 for 150 women’s scholarships through this tournament.

One hundred percent of the proceeds raised at this tournament fund the IWC’s mission to support local women furthering their education. Each year, 84 golfers, men and women, participate in this event; many others in the community attend the luncheon and silent and live auctions.

Of course, non of this would be possible with the dedicated support of Antigua’s business community by way of sponsorship; Platinum, Gold and Silver and Bronze. 

One of the highlights for golfers is a raffle dedicated just to them, where Virgin Atlantic has donated two Premium Economy tickets that one lucky golfer will win.
