Members of the International Women’s Club of Antigua and Barbuda (IWC) donned their antlers, Santa hats and special Christmas outfits Thursday, and brought special cheer and joy to some of Antigua and Barbuda’s neediest citizens.
The annual programme, made possible by generous donations from the Mill Reef Fund, Putters Restaurant, Barbara Parris, Jerry Bento, Rosemary Margoris, Robert Eremian, Horizons Ltd., Food Brokerage, Epicurean Fine Foods, Mitchell A. Michael, Inter-Island Sales and Supply, Cristo’s Supermarket, Island Provision Ltd., Anjo Wholesale, and Food Brokerage Services, is also supported by Clinic Nurses who help identify the recipients and accompany the IWC volunteers on their deliveries. IWC also donates food hampers to Hero House, the St. John’s Hospice, the Fiennes Institute and other organizations in need.
